Frequently Asked Questions
What is single-stream recycling?
-
Single-stream recycling is a system in which all recyclables, including newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum, junk mail, etc., are placed in a single bin or cart for recycling. No need for sorting!
When does my service begin?
-
Service cycle is for one month, starting on the day you sign-up, to the same day the next month. Bins are delivered to your house within five days.
Can I sign-up for temporary service?
-
Of course! Part-time residents and vacationers need recycle service too!
-
Recommend to sign-up at least a week prior arrival. Please contact us with the dates of your stay. You cancel when you depart.
-
We cannot pro-rate the amount.
-
Vacationers, this is a new service. Check to see if the owner has already subscribed before signing up yourself.
What day is my pickup?
-
Weekly pickup day is communicated after sign-up. For questions, please contact us at hello@FL27Recycle.com
Where do I place my bin?
-
Keep your bin at a convenient place for you. On pick-up day, don't take bin to the curb. We will pick-up from the front, side or alley of your house. We will likely discuss your ideal location directly with you prior to the first pick-up.
What time should my bin be accessible?
-
Please have bin accessible by 6 a.m. on your collection day. We will never pick up before first light, but that can be pretty early in the summer :)
When is my monthly payment due?
-
The first payment is due at sign-up. Future payments will be drafted monthly, until service is canceled.
What do I do if my credit card expires or my payment is declined?
-
You will receive an automatic email if the payment is not processed

You can log in to you account and update your payment information anytime.

If your payment is not updated within 7 days, your subscription will be automatically canceled
